What we offer
Welcome to Lafleur Ski Rentals! We have been in operation for more than 10 years at Mooney’s Bay Ski Centre and offer a variety the newest classic, skate skis and snowshoes to use on or off-site.
The Centre has 5 kms of groomed trails, for both classic and skate skiing. There is lighting for night skiing and training grids on practice fields, as well as a training hill for alpine manoeuvres. Visit Mooney’s Bay Ski Centre website for lesson registration and additional information.
We’re proud to offer equipment by Rossignol.
Before arriving
It is important that each skier (or parent of skier) knows their correct height, weight and shoe size to be properly equipped.
Large groups (10+ participants) planning an outing must give at least 24hrs notice during the week, and 48hrs of notice for weekend visits. Requests can be made via our contact page, or over the phone. You must receive confirmation before your arrival and you may be asked to provide equipment sizing in advance of your visit.
Getting Started
Beginners can find excellent information on classic and skate skiing here with video demonstrations on proper technique and essential clothing to stay warm.
Location and Hours
We are a pop-up cross-country ski rental shop that is only open in the winter months (Late December to March). We are entirely weather dependant and are only open when the track at Mooney’s Bay is open.
During the season, our hours are:
Monday to Friday: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Holidays and March Break: call for hours (typically 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
